Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Australia seeks a Sustainment Systems & Planning Lead to consolidate integrated master schedules and align sustainment delivery with engineering constraints. This role will operate from Canberra, Australia, and coordinate with US/UK models to implement repeatable planning processes across partners.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in sustainment planning or ILS, strong data-driven decision support, and familiarity with NAVSEA planning systems or submarine

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 8+ years with a Master’s; or equivalent experience with HS diploma (14 years)
• 8+ years in sustainment planning, scheduling or ILS
• Experience building and managing IMS and multi-stakeholder planning frameworks
• Working knowledge of US submarine sustainment processes (preferably SSN/VCS)
• Experience integrating engineering constraints, operational demand and maintenance schedules
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision support capability
• Experience with NAVSEA planning systems or submarine program offices
• Familiarity with ILS frameworks (LSA, provisioning, maintenance planning) in US DoD context
• Experience with CSS/TYCOM maintenance orgs, shipyards, SUPSHIP or intermediate maintenance activities
• Experience deploying repeatable planning models across organisations
• Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project or equivalent enterprise systems
