Elysium Healthcare is hiring a Senior Support Worker for Brighton & Hove Clinic in Hove. You will lead a supportive team, oversee shifts, ensure wellbeing of service users, and manage activities, medication, and reporting.

A NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and leadership ability are expected, with a focus on compassionate care and professional reliability. The role offers a wide benefits package and a rota including days and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Support Worker or extensive care experience in Mental Health and hold the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Leadership skills and experience.
• Strong empathy and a caring and compassionate nature.
• Willingness to support residents with personal hygiene.
• Excellent people and communication skills, and a good sense of humour.
• Deal with challenging behaviours.
• Be reliable, flexible, hard-working and honest.

Responsibilities

• Organise and oversee the smooth running of a shift, ensuring the wellbeing of all service users.
• Respond to challenges or concerns and supervise support staff.
• Organise activities and administer medication.
• Communicate with families and professionals, oversee daily reports and budgets.
• Complete financial audits and conduct H&S checks.
