Birzulis Civil & Structural Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead teams from concept through completion in Newcastle. You will design structural solutions for buildings and infrastructure, oversee project delivery, and manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering with CPEng status and 7+ years of experience, along with strong software proficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• CPEng status highly preferred.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in structural engineering software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Design structural solutions for buildings and infrastructure (steel, concrete, timber) using structural engineering software.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex structural challenges
• Champion new technologies, methods, and best practices within the team

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering plus CPEng status
• 7 + years’ experience in structural engineering
• Strong proficiency in all structural engineering software
• Solid understanding of structural design principles, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
