Job summary

1300Hired is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Brisbane to join a growing multi-office engineering consultancy. You will manage and mentor a small team, take ownership of jobs, and work with building and architectural clients on medium to large-scale projects.

The role demands strong structural design capability, leadership, and business development experience, with a collaborative culture and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 to 15 years engineering consulting experience.
• Experience with medium to larger scale projects.
• Experience managing projects.
• Technically strong designing in all construction forms & materials.
• Exp in post tensioned concrete (advantageous).
• Capability in RAM Concept, RAPT, Microstran, ETABS (or equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources to execute work on time, budget & quality.
• Manage clients and jobs front start to end.
• Undertake designs and coordinate drafting and project documentation.
• Manage clients including some business development functions.

• A Structural Engineer (6-8 years) feeling career constrained, or

Preferred experience:
