Job summary

Building Talent Recruitment Pty is seeking a Senior Structural Drafter in Sydney to take ownership of a diverse portfolio including mixed-use residential, commercial, data centres and industrial projects.

You will coordinate and develop coordinated Revit models and detailed drawings from concept through construction, working with senior engineers and the drafting team, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience as a Structural Drafter in an Australian engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience using Revit across building projects.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating effectively with engineers and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of structural Revit models and documentation across multiple projects.
• Produce high-quality detailed drawings including plans, sections, details and schedules.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, architects and external consultants to resolve design and modelling issues.
• Support project delivery across all stages from concept design through to construction documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior drafters within the team and contribute to maintaining drafting standards.
