Job summary

IUSCA seeks a Level 7 accredited Strength and Conditioning practitioner to lead the club’s Strength and Power Program for the Perth Bears’ inaugural NRL squad. The role operates as second-in-command within the Performance function, shaping performance philosophy, systems and workloads.

You will develop monitoring, profiling and return-to-performance work, while mentoring emerging practitioners and providing senior leadership during the absence of the High Performance Manager.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of elite or professional performance experience.
  • Degree-level education and S&C accreditation (ASCA Level 2 or equivalent, IQF Level 7).
  • Second-in-command within the Performance function and lead for the NRL squad's Strength and Power Program.
  • Mutures leadership and development of practitioners within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strength and power provision for the inaugural NRL squad.
  • Deliver athletic development and return-to-performance programmes.
  • Oversee monitoring and profiling systems.
  • Contribute to club performance systems and philosophy.
  • Mentor developing practitioners and provide senior leadership when the High Performance Manager is absent.
