Job summary

The opportunity expands beyond a traditional Flood Modeller role, hands-on across flooding while taking greater ownership of projects, and direct client engagement. Mentoring junior engineers and delivering robust technical reports are key facets of the role.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years' relevant engineering experience in Australia.
• RPEQ preferred or progressing towards registration.

The Company

Our client is an established, privately owned engineering consultancy delivering civil engineering, land development, flooding and stormwater solutions across a diverse range of projects.

Their work ranges from residential and development projects requiring flood impact and stormwater assessments through to larger, more complex flood studies and infrastructure-related assignments.

The business has deliberately built a broad consulting model, where engineers gain exposure beyond one narrow technical discipline and work closely with clients throughout project delivery.

The Opportunity

This is a broader opportunity than a traditional Flood Modeller role. You'll remain hands‑on across flooding and stormwater while taking greater ownership of projects, working directly with clients and mentoring junior engineers.

It's a good next step for an experienced engineer who wants more variety and responsibility without moving away from the technical work.
