Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a Senior Stores Supervisor to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of stores management practices within a correctional setting. You will oversee warehousing, procurement, stock control and related financial processes to ensure cost-efficient operations.

Responsibilities include staff performance development, governance and risk management, OH&S compliance, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary centre team to maintain high service delivery

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff in a large operation.
• Strong governance and risk management knowledge.
• Familiar with warehouse, procurement and stock control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff performance appraisal and development.
• Oversee Bulk Store warehousing, procurement, stock control and financial processes.
• Maintain governance and risk management systems.
• Communicate with the centre’s multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure WH&S compliance for bulk store functions.
• Manage contracted services on a day-to-day basis.
