Job summary

Randstad Digital (Formerly Finite Recruitment) is seeking a Canberra-based Senior Storage Architect to design, implement and manage large-scale enterprise storage environments. You will lead capacity planning, DR planning and cross-functional collaboration to ensure highly available infrastructure.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in enterprise storage, strong documentation, and ability to advise at senior levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, maintaining and managing large-scale enterprise storage environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage architecture and capacity management.
• Hands-on experience across enterprise backup, recovery and replication technologies.
• Experience supporting highly available infrastructure and data lifecycle management.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

You will bring:

• At least 5 years' experience designing, implementing, maintaining and managing large-scale enterprise storage environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage architecture and capacity management.
• Hands-on experience across enterprise backup, recovery and replication technologies.
• Experience supporting highly available and business-critical infrastructure.
• Understanding of storage performance, resilience, data integrity and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across interconnected systems.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and provide senior-level technical advice.

• Large-scale on-premises storage platforms.
• SAN/NAS technologies.
• Enterprise backup platforms.
• LTO tape libraries and archival storage.
• Virtualised server environments.
• Storage networking.
• Infrastructure monitoring and performance management.
• Government ICT environments.
• Federal Government procurement and vendor management.

Clearance Requirements

Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
Australian Citizenship will therefore be required.
