Job summary

Stonen Fabrication is seeking a skilled Stonemason with 3 years of experience to join our team in Sydney. You will fabricate, finish, and install a variety of natural and engineered stone products, interpreting drawings and ensuring project specifications are met.

You will operate cutting and polishing equipment, maintain quality control, and collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure successful project execution. A strong focus on safety and precision is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of stone materials, properties, and installation techniques.
• Experience with cutting and polishing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and finish a wide range of natural and sintered stone products.
• Interpret design drawings and templates to ensure fabrication matches specifications.
• Install stone components such as countertops, splashbacks, vanities, and wall cladding with accuracy.
• Align, level, seal, and grout installed stone pieces.
• Inspect slabs and finished products for quality and defects before installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with safety guidelines.
