This 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover opportunity is a chance to step into a senior planning role where you’ll work on projects with real social and economic impact across the community. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of planning and subdivision applications, provide expert advice and help shape high-quality, timely planning outcomes. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor other planners, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to improving how Council delivers planning services.
You’re an experienced planning professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working with people and making a meaningful contribution to the community. You’ll bring strong knowledge of Victorian planning legislation, sound judgement and the confidence to work across a diverse range of applications, stakeholders and competing priorities. You’re also a collaborative team player who communicates clearly, stays organised and takes pride in delivering practical, high-quality and customer-focused outcomes.
