Job summary
The Trustee for the Byrne No. 2 Trust – Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals are seeking a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Surgeon) to deliver high quality surgical services across Hervey Bay and Maryborough. The role supports research and teaching, with duties directed by senior clinical leadership.
Location: Hervey Bay/Maryborough; Permanent, full-time with a competitive remuneration package including superannuation and allowances, flexible rostering, and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Provides high quality clinical and non-clinical services to patients/clients of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to patients/clients of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- Assist the Clinical Director (General Surgery) and the Director Medical Services to ensure operations.
- Contribute to research and teaching of health professionals.
