Job summary

Infineon in Australia is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Data Scientist to transform complex data into actionable insights that optimize manufacturing and logistics. You will benchmark cutting-edge AI models, lead data projects, and translate business needs into analytics solutions.

You will work with large data sets, apply GenAI concepts, and help drive digitalization across the organization, delivering measurable improvements for supply chain efficiency and decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Strong foundation in deep learning, with emphasis on generative models.
• 5+ years of software development experience in modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• High analytical skills and keen perception for new challenges.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support end-to-end data science projects including data cleaning, analysis, modeling and translating data into insights.
• Act as an analytics translator, translating business requirements to IT and facilitating design sessions.

• Stay up to date with state-of-the-art AI techniques to improve efficiency and promote AI across the organization.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Implementing and benchmarking cutting-edge large language and multi-modal models and Agentic AI systems, analyzing their emergent patterns and system performance bottlenecks.
• Lead and/or support end-to-end data science projects including data cleaning with large data sets(including processing, manipulation,analysis,modelling etc.)analyzing data trends,correlations and patterns,translating data into insights to drive business and operational decisions.
• Act as an analytics translator, communicate complex data related requirements (from the business) to other parties (eg IT). Facilitate interactive design sessions with business user and use experimentation methods and design tests to optimize visualization experiences.
• Support supply chain in the creation of analytical solutions that range frm developing and delivering models, to digging for insights and translating them into actionable plans
• Understand business context, identify and scope business requirements and priorities, formulate problem/opportunity statements through rigorous information gathering and analysis as well as clarification of the solutions,initiatives and program to enable effective delivery.
• Continuously explore and evaluate state of the art techniques to improve AI solutions efficiency and effectivenesss. Stay up to date with the latest data science technology, trends, techniques, and best practices. Incorporate the most feasible practices.
• Develop skillset, training systematics, provide expertise and promote mindset of Digitalization, Advance Analytics and Artificial Intelligence including GenAI solutions to the organization and be able to leverage advanced data analysis skills, to prepare complex data analysis and models towards problem solving.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in deep learning, with a particular emphasis on generative models.
• A track record of at least 5 years of relevant software development experience in modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• High analytical skills and keen perception to approach new challenges
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
