Job summary

Luxoft seeks a Site Reliability Engineer with 10+ years of experience to improve service reliability, availability, and resilience for an Australian banking client. You will lead monitoring, SLO/SLI management, disaster recovery, and capacity planning across cloud environments.

You will design and implement observability capabilities, automate health checks, and drive AI-assisted engineering practices, including GitHub Copilot adoption and major incident response.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SRE/DevOps with distributed systems and cloud-native stacks.
• Proficient in observability with metrics, logs, traces and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of IaC and security practices (DevSecOps, Zero Trust).
• Experience with container platforms and middleware.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Java, Go, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability and resilience through monitoring, SLOs/SLIs, and disaster recovery.
• Design observability and automation to reduce manual effort.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Apply AI-driven operations and integrate Copilot for engineering tasks.
• Drive capacity planning and performance optimization.
