Job summary

Mediix Recruitment Pty Ltd. is partnering with a Sydney Hills District allied health provider to appoint a Senior Speech Pathologist / Team Leader for a 12-month parental leave contract.

You will lead a small team delivering in-home, school-based and on-site therapy while maintaining your own clinical caseload. The role balances clinical work with leadership, and offers flexibility, a warm handover from the outgoing Team Leader, and direct access to practice owners.

Qualifications

• SPA-eligible / CPSP with 4–5+ years post-graduate experience.
• Community or mobile speech pathology experience is essential.
• Leadership, senior clinician, or clinical supervision background preferred.
• Familiarity with NDIS frameworks and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small community speech pathology team delivering in-home, school, and on-site therapy.
• Provide clinical supervision and case discussions.
• Manage team caseload allocation, scheduling and workflow.
• Onboard and induct new team members during the contract.
• Maintain clinical standards, documentation quality and NDIS compliance.
• Liaise with referrers, GPs, schools, aged care facilities and NDIS coordinators.
• Maintain a clinical caseload proportional to the remit.
• Report to and collaborate with practice owners.
