Job summary

MedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Illawarra region, covering Nowra and North and South Wollongong, with a home‑based style that keeps you close to your base. You will contribute to a supportive, collaborative team and mentor graduates.

You’ll work with a diverse caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings, delivering evidence‑based therapy to improve communication and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA.
• Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals.
• Deliver evidence‑based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals.
• Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians.
