Job summary

Early Start Australia Pty is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to lead high-quality assessments and interventions for paediatric clients in Wembley, WA. You will mentor team members, guide clinical practice, and contribute to service excellence across the clinic.

You will work with children and families to build communication skills, social interaction, and life abilities, while developing therapy plans, documenting reports, and collaborating with educators and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current CPSP status or eligibility.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior clinicians (desirable).
• Current Working with Children Check and Police check.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.

About the Role

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will deliver high-quality assessment and intervention services while providing mentoring and clinical support to Speech Pathologists within the team.

Working with children and their families, you will help clients develop communication, social interaction, and functional life skills that support participation in everyday activities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status or eligibility
• Demonstrated experience working with children and families
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior clinicians (desirable)
• Current Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Check
• Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
