Job summary
Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) is seeking a Senior Application Developer (Spatial) to design and maintain software for spatial data across NSW. The role focuses on delivering efficient spatial solutions, coordinating with ICT, and guiding technical strategy in a dynamic environment.
You will engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure reliable service delivery, collaboration and innovation while contributing to standardisation and continuous improvement of spatial data
Qualifications
- Experience in system analysis and design for spatial data solutions.
- Development of complex modules, integrations and web services.
- Experience with triaging, debugging and supporting digital services in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software and system solutions for spatial data and applications.
- Promote technology adoption and provide technical consulting aligned with ICT strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure rapid service delivery and reliable spatial infrastructure.
- Standardise processes and contribute to the strategic direction of spatial data use.
