Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta invites applications for a full-time Sonographer (Grade 3 or 4) in our Medical Imaging Department. The role focuses on professional ultrasound imaging for patients, following department protocols, and contributing to high-quality patient care.

Applicants should meet the Grade 3/4 AHP1 criteria and hold Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA, with potential relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Grade 3 or 4 AHP1 classification under the Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement.
• Dual qualified radiographer and sonographer with appropriate registrations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate diagnostic decisions.
• Participate in open and informed discussions with radiologists and other staff.
• Ensure an efficient workflow.
• Optimise patient care.
