Job summary

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) in Victoria invites applications for Sonographer roles at Grade 3 or Grade 4. Work across a broad ultrasound caseload in a modern Medical Imaging department, supported by radiologists and a collaborative team, with part-time and full-time options and monthly ADO.

Opportunities are available at both Grade 3 and Grade 4 level, with full-time and part-time options available.

The Contract:

Ongoing | Full-Time, 80-hour fortnight with accrued ADO (Part-time considered).

• Grade 3: $104,135 - $118,981 pro rata + super + salary packaging
• Grade 4: $126,079 - $138,928 pro rata+ super + salary packaging

The Opportunity

As a Sonographer at BRHS, you'll perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations within a busy and modern regional service. Working closely with radiologists, clinicians and fellow imaging professionals, you'll enjoy the variety and autonomy of a true generalist role while contributing to excellent patient outcomes. Grade 4 Sonographers will also have opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to service development.

What You Bring:

• ASAR registration and eligibility for ASA membership.
• Qualifications in ultrasound +/- radiography.

• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Grade 4 applicants will demonstrate advanced sonography experience and the ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring.
