Job summary

IBM Global Sales in Sydney seeks a Solutions Engineer to bridge technical depth and business value across customer journeys, working with Confluent platforms. You will partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to uncover needs, shape architectures, and drive adoption of data streaming patterns that deliver meaningful business outcomes.

You will lead technical discovery, design architectures, run proofs of concept, and run workshops with developers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering or similar roles.
• Experience with distributed systems and data streaming.
• Strong cloud, networking, and container knowledge (Kubernetes).
• Ability to run discovery and map pain points to solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
