Job summary

Cathara Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect for a 12-month contract opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory. You will lead the design, development and governance of enterprise technology solutions within a complex utilities and critical infrastructure environment.

You will shape long-term technology strategies, develop secure architecture frameworks and ensure solutions align with business objectives, security requirements and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant technical experience in Solution and Technology Architecture.
• Strong experience across enterprise, application, infrastructure, information and security architecture.
• Proven ability to develop ICT strategies, architecture frameworks, standards and governance processes.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.

• Lead development and implementation of enterprise-wide solution architecture strategies, frameworks and standards.
• Design secure, scalable and sustainable technology solutions across applications, infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Translate business requirements into effective solution and technology architecture designs.

About You

• Minimum 10 years' relevant technical experience, with demonstrated expertise in Solution and Technology Architecture.
• Strong experience across enterprise, application, infrastructure, information and security architecture.
• Proven ability to develop and implement ICT strategies, architecture frameworks, standards and governance processes.
• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk management and architectural best practices.
• Experience evaluating technology investments, total cost of ownership and business benefits.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Industry-recognised architecture certifications.
• Experience within utilities, critical infrastructure or Operational Technology (OT) environments is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications such as CISSP or ITIL will be highly regarded.
