Job summary

Cathara Consulting is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support the design, development and delivery of enterprise integration solutions across an EMS and other IT projects.

You will work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to develop scalable integration solutions, modernise legacy applications and improve connectivity across enterprise systems.

Cathara Consulting is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support the design, development and delivery of enterprise integration solutions across a major Education Management System (EMS) and other IT projects.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, technical teams and stakeholders to develop scalable integration solutions, modernise legacy applications and improve connectivity across enterprise systems.

This position will be based in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise integration solutions using C# .NET, SQL Server and modern development frameworks.
• Develop and support APIs, web services, message queues and system integrations.
• Analyse and reverse engineer existing SSIS packages, legacy integrations and .NET applications.
• Develop, test and implement software applications, database scripts and integration components.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting and ongoing application improvements.
• Support integration development using InterSystems IRIS, ObjectScript and other enterprise technologies.

About You

• Strong experience with C# .NET, SQL Server, WebAPI and .NET MVC.
• Experience with web services, IBM MQ, message queues or mainframe integrations.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with version control systems, unit testing and JIRA.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture, application development and integration design.
• Experience with InterSystems IRIS, ObjectScript or similar integration technologies.
• Exposure to SSIS, Master Data Management (MDM), Tibco MDM or Entity Framework is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
