Job summary

Smart Commercial Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large commercial solar and storage projects in Australia. Based in North Sydney, you will oversee multi-site programs, provide senior technical and delivery escalation support, and ensure safety, quality and financial performance across a growing portfolio.

You will mentor the projects team, manage budgets, contracts and client relationships, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience delivering large-scale commercial solar projects (7+ years).
• CEC accreditation for grid-connected system design (highly regarded).
• Engineering/Construction-related degree; PM qualification desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of large commercial solar projects (500 kW to multi-MW).
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and margins.
• Lead procurement strategy and contract negotiations.
• Provide mentoring and escalation support to the projects team.
• Ensure compliance with AS/NZS, DNSP, and safety standards.
• Engage with clients and coordinate multi-site delivery.
