Job summary

Unison Solar Energy is seeking an experienced Process Manager to lead the development, implementation and optimisation of photovoltaic module manufacturing processes. You will ensure products meet quality, engineering, technical and customer requirements.

Reporting to the Deputy Director Operations, you will collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, WHS and R&D to establish robust systems, improve capability and support ramp-up and scale-up of solar manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process/ Chemical/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in process/manufacturing engineering or process management.
• Experience developing and optimising manufacturing processes, controls and standards.
• Experience analyzing process performance and implementing improvements.
• Knowledge of SPC, Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and optimisation of photovoltaic module manufacturing processes.
• Establish specifications, procedures, control plans and manufacturing documentation.
• Monitor process performance: yield, scrap, defect rates; implement improvements.
• Lead investigations, RCA, validation activities and corrective actions.
• Support factory commissioning, ramp-up and scale-up with problem-solving.
• Provide technical leadership to the Process Team across departments.
