Job summary

Unison Solar Energy Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Principal Equipment Engineer to lead the reliability, maintenance and performance of high-volume solar PV manufacturing equipment and production systems.

You will collaborate across Production, Process, Quality and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement, establish engineering standards, and lead commissioning, qualification and production readiness for new equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
8+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
Experience with installation, commissioning, qualification and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, preventative and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Develop and maintain equipment engineering standards and maintenance strategies.
Analyse performance, downtime trends and maintenance data to improve OEE.
Lead investigations, corrective actions and maintenance optimization.
Lead equipment acceptance, commissioning and production readiness for new equipment.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
