Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join its Commercial team on a major solar power station project in Central Queensland. This site-based role is open to locals or those available for a FIFO roster from Brisbane (14 days on, 7 days off).

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, project leadership and construction teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes, manage subcontract packages and support cost control throughout the

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Business, Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in contracts administration on major construction, civil, mining, energy or renewable projects.
• Demonstrated experience administering subcontract packages during project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract management, progress claims, variations and commercial administration.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across project teams and subcontractors.

• Assess subcontractor progress claims, variations and payment recommendations.
• Manage subcontractor correspondence and contractual compliance.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join its Commercial team on a major solar power station project in Central Queensland.

This is a site-based position, open to candidates, based locally in Central Queensland or those available to work on a FIFO roster from Brisbane (14 days on, 7 days off).

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Leadership team and construction teams, you will play a key hands-on role in the commercial delivery of the project. You will manage subcontract packages throughout the construction phase, supporting cost control, contractual compliance and strong commercial outcomes while collaborating with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and contributing to the successful delivery of a major renewable energy project.
