Job summary

Unloan, a start-up inside Commonwealth Bank, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Acquisition Squad. You will design and build customer-facing experiences that support every stage of the home lending journey, owning solutions end to end from development to production.

You will work at the AI-enabled edge, using modern platforms and tooling to speed delivery while maintaining quality. You will join a startup-minded, autonomous micro squad, shaping customer outcomes with pragmatic software

Qualifications

• Evidence-based UI and backend development using TypeScript/React in production.
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modelling, migrations and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and build customer-facing experiences across the home lending journey.
• Own solutions end to end from implementation to production support.
• Collaborate on AI-enabled software engineering initiatives and accelerate delivery.
• Contribute to scalable, high-quality production systems.
