Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience, with production systems.
• Experience designing web services with PHP, Python, and ideally TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs and third-party integrations with unique requirements.
• Strong cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and communicate trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-quality solutions across platforms for internal assessors, partners, and customers.
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions with rigorous reviews and documentation.
• Shape and deliver AI-first initiatives, integrating AI into development workflows.
• Own the full development lifecycle from discovery through IaC and observability.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with product managers, QA engineers, and other teams.
• Champion continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and engineering practices.
