Compare the Market Australia (iSelect and Compare the Market) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership, shape architecture, and deliver scalable digital products.

You will work across a modern tech stack (JavaScript/React, Java, Node.js) on AWS, AI/ML features, CI/CD, and collaborative, cross-functional teams. We value innovation, continual learning and flexible work options with hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full-stack software development.
• Expertise in JavaScript (React) and/or Java with Node.js.
• Experience with AWS cloud, serverless and event-driven architecture.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities.
• Understanding of data engineering for AI-powered solutions.
• Strong CI/CD, observability, and end-to-end software development.
• Experience in regulated industries and hybrid delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive design, development, and maintenance of software solutions.
