We design and develop our robotic systems in-house, bringing together software, AI, and hardware engineering to solve challenging real-world problems. THE ROLE

As a Senior Software Engineer you will develop reliable, testable software, and support company-wide infrastructure tasks, helping maintain reliable and secure access to internal systems and tools.

Working closely with a cross-functional team (hardware, AI, software) and internal stakeholders, you will help design and deliver creative, end-to-end solutions.

Core responsibilities include:

• Contributing to technical roadmap planning and system design
• Taking responsibility for software projects end-to-end, including requirements and resourcing, security and delivery
• Developing interfaces and dashboards to monitor robot fleets
• Implementing APIs and data pipelines
• Developing fleet algorithms (eg. related to navigation or planning)
• Designing networking and communication protocols between robots and the cloud

YOU MUST HAVE

• Expert level programming skills in Python
• Understanding of cyber security principles
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Django and vue.js
• Understanding of distributed applications, and communication protocols
• Background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related discipline
• Experience working in Linux environments

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with real-time or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with mobile robotics (eg. ROS and SLAM)
• Cloud computing, bash scripting, CI/CD
