Townsville Catholic Education (TCE) is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Software Developer. This is a Full Time, permanent position commencing 6 October 2025.
About the role
The Senior Software Developer (SSD) is an Information Technology professional who designs, implements and manages software services within the Information Technology and Services Team (ITS). The SSD is responsible for the creation, availability and reliability of new and existing software solutions to achieve TCE’s strategic outcomes.
Working with key stakeholders, the SSD has a delivery focus to provide elegant software systems to deliver creative solutions for improved services and outcomes within ITS.
The SSD will work as part of the Knowledge & Applications (KA) team to design, implement and support KA services across TCE. Additionally, the incumbent will recommend and implement approved changes to improve and create efficiencies in the KA services catalogue.
The SSD reports directly to the Team Leader Knowledge & Applications and may lead small ad hoc teams.

5+ years in development, including 2+ as a senior developer
Experienced in BI reporting, SSO (Okta), and Azure services
Strong grasp of Agile, SDLC, system design and Git workflows
