Accenture is seeking a Software Asset Management Consultant to help organizations optimize software investments, maintain licensing compliance, and improve governance. The role collaborates with technology, procurement, finance and vendor management functions to deliver SAM strategies and measurable business value.

Ideal candidate has experience solving complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and delivering tangible business outcomes, with a willingness to work from the Sydney office

Qualifications

• Expert experience in Software Asset Management or related field.
• Experience managing licensing, compliance, audits and optimization across major vendors.
• Hands-on experience with SAM tools (ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow).
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work from Sydney office 5 days a week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support Software Asset Management initiatives across lifecycle.
• Analyse licensing positions, entitlement data and usage for risks and cost savings.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement SAM processes and governance.
• Support software audits, vendor reviews, and remediation planning.
• Provide SME on licensing models and industry trends; drive improvements.
