Job summary

NSW Health's MHSUS is seeking a Senior Social Worker Level 4 to lead clinical practice for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will provide expert assessment, education and leadership across inpatient units and community settings.

You will mentor staff, engage families, contribute to quality improvement, and participate in governance and service development, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or equivalent.
• Advanced clinical expertise in mental health and substance use.
• Proven leadership and supervision capabilities across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-reach assessments across Mental Health Centre inpatient units.
• Deliver therapeutic programs and provide clinical guidance to improve consumer outcomes.
• Lead education initiatives and support continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate care and provide group-based programs within a multidisciplinary setting.
