Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced Social Worker Level 3 at Wyong Hospital to provide advanced assessments, care planning and leadership within the Drug and Alcohol Service. The role operates in a multidisciplinary setting, delivering patient-centred care and contributing to service improvement in the Central Coast region.

Qualifications

• Significant social work experience in a recognised clinical specialty.
• Advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving for complex cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or guiding colleagues or students.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced social work assessment, intervention and care planning for complex presentations.
• Provide specialist clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to staff and students.
• Collaborate with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Offer specialist advice and education to enhance clinical practice.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative models of care.
