Job summary

PRA in Sydney is looking for four senior Snowflake Platform Engineers to design and operationalise an enterprise Snowflake platform for a major Australian bank. You will build platform foundations and govern security and costs in a regulated environment.

You will automate deployments with CI/CD, IaC, and work with architects and security teams to ensure scalable data workloads. This is a hands-on, senior role requiring platform-level expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating Snowflake platforms in enterprise environments, ideally financial services or another regulated industry.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake administration: RBAC, network policies, data masking, resource monitors and cost governance.
• Infrastructure as code and automation experience (Terraform, schemachange, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar).
• Cloud platform experience across AWS or Azure, including integration and security.

Responsibilities

• Designing the platform foundations: account structure, environments and architecture
• Implementing governance, security and access controls that meet banking standards
• Automating deployments with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Setting up operational processes, monitoring, cost management and the support model
• Getting the platform ready for enterprise-scale data workloads
