Job summary

Professional Recruitment Australia – Sydney NSW is seeking four senior Snowflake Platform Engineers to build and run an enterprise-scale Snowflake platform for a major Australian bank. This is not a SQL, reporting or ETL role.

Ideal candidates have built, secured, automated and operated Snowflake in large, regulated environments and can do it again from the ground up as a core member of the team. You will design foundations, governance, automation, and operating models for enterprise workloads.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on Snowflake specialists.
• Experience building, securing and operating Snowflake in large, regulated environments.
• Not a pure SQL, reporting or ETL development role.

Responsibilities

• Designs the platform foundations and architecture for enterprise Snowflake usage.
• Implements governance, security and access controls to banking standards.
• Automates deployments and infrastructure through CI/CD and IaC.
• Sets up operational processes, monitoring and support model.
• Gets the platform ready for enterprise-scale data workloads.
