Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Senior Sleep Technician for the TQEH Sleep Laboratory to help patients breathe and sleep better. You will perform overnight sleep studies, set up CPAP/Bi-level therapies, and analyse data to support clinicians and patients.

The role requires a Diploma or Advanced Diploma and experience with sleep studies, respiratory equipment, and training staff. You will work daytime and overnight shifts, contributing to a safe, compassionate sleep

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
• Bring experience performing and analysing sleep studies.
• Apply respiratory physiology and therapeutic equipment skills.
• Communicate with empathy and train less experienced staff.
• Work independently and reliably, including overnight duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
• Set up and assess prescribed CPAP and Bi-level therapies.
• Analyse recordings, prepare reports and maintain databases.
• Apply quality controls and maintain accurate documentation.
• Train staff and guide patients in respiratory support use.
