Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) in Adelaide, SA seeks a Senior Sleep Technician for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Sleep Laboratory. You will perform and analyse overnight sleep studies, set up CPAP/Bi-level therapies and guide less experienced staff while maintaining a safe, accurate sleep laboratory service.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
• Bring experience performing and analysing sleep studies.
• Apply respiratory physiology and therapeutic equipment skills.
• Communicate with empathy and train less experienced staff.
• Work independently and reliably, including overnight duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
• Set up and assess prescribed CPAP and Bi-level therapies.
• Analyse recordings, prepare reports and maintain databases.
• Apply quality controls and maintain accurate documentation.
• Train staff and guide patients in respiratory support use.
