Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform expertise to lead networking, IAM and IaC initiatives. The role emphasizes scalable infrastructure, automation, and strong observability within a large Australian organisation.

You will work in a remote-capable setup, contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Kubernetes, Github and Ansible, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring platform reliability and security across cloud

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar in a cloud environment.
• Strong background in Google Cloud Platform with networking and IAM.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and operation of highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Drive IaC practices and automation to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to observability and monitoring initiatives.

Working as part of a close knit team in a large Australian organisation, this SeniorSite ReliabityEngineer position presents a great opportunity for an experiencedGCP Specialist with expertise across GCP networking and IAM to join a highly technical, growing team. Thiscompany is Sydney based, but is predominantly work from home, so open to any Australian location. The role is open as a permanent or contract engagement.

Responsible for the management and engineering of highly complexinfrastructureenvironments and acting as a senior SRE, you will drive and enhance infrastructure as code practices, and enable best of breed solutions for this large enterprise.

To secure this role, you should have a strong background inSite Reliability Engineering particularly with Google Cloudincluding:
