Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking a Site Construction Manager – Terminal Station for the Joel Joel Terminal Station, part of the Western Renewables Link program. Initially Melbourne City based, deployment to site early 2027.

Lead end‑to‑end construction across civil, structural, electrical and building works, coordinating safety, quality and schedule from site access to verification. You will manage subcontractors, engineering and support teams, ensuring governance and on‑time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 15+ years’ experience delivering major infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Experience in terminal stations, substations or complex multi-disciplinary construction environments.
• Senior site leadership with large teams and multiple subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior site‑based leader for Terminal Station construction works, establishing governance and communication.
• Lead and coordinate all on‑site construction activities from initial access through completion and verification.
• Set expectations for safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity and workforce behaviour.
• Plan, coordinate and manage sequencing across civil, structural, electrical and building scopes.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation to protect milestones.
• Maintain safety systems, environmental controls and quality management on site.
• Support cost control, productivity monitoring and subcontractor performance.
