Job summary

Mineral Resources Ltd is seeking a Senior Shotfirer to lead a Drill & Blast team on a 2/1 FIFO roster at Bald Hill. This permanent, full-time role involves planning, preparing, and executing blasting activities while meeting safety and production standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as shotfirer in hard rock mining, with leadership experience and relevant tickets. Australian work rights and pre-employment medical clearance required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Valid Shot firing ticket.
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification (S26) – Desirable
• Demonstrated leadership experience, running multiple blast crews.
• 3+ years shotfirer experience in a hard rock production mining environment.
• Experience working with Electronic Detonators is preferred, but not essential
• Experience working with presplits and reactive ground is desirable
• Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen.
