VACCHO invites a Senior Advisor to lead Social and Emotional Wellbeing initiatives and steer strategic development at the Balit Durn Durn Centre. You will engage diverse partners, guide project areas like Justice and AOD, and support leadership to advance community-led health in Victoria.

The role emphasises cultural safety, self-determination, and collaboration with Aboriginal communities to drive systemic improvements in health outcomes.

Competenze

• Experience in managing community-led projects, particularly in Aboriginal contexts.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to drive change.
• Proven skill in translating research and community needs into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and community empowerment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; attention to detail.

• Lead and oversee development, implementation and strategic refinement of SEWB projects.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and relationships with partners and government bodies.
