Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role in the market research industry.
• Genuine interest in SEO and digital marketing.
• Evidence of a strong personal online profile (blog/website or social media activity).
• Commitment to keeping technical skills up to date.
• Inquisitive mind that understands Google's algorithms and predicts upcoming changes.
• Good understanding of search engines.
• Ability to use social media to distribute content, gain more links and run campaigns.
• Good understanding of PR and messaging for online content.
• Understanding of how customers search and use online services.
• Understanding of the wider marketing context.
• Strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms.
• Excellent communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of, or experience with HTML coding, and preferably JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel knowledge.
• Some experience with web hosting.
