Job summary

Ausgrid is seeking a Security Risk & Services Manager to strengthen the resilience and security of our critical infrastructure. You will lead physical and personnel security services, partnering with executives, government agencies and service providers to protect people and assets.

This senior role reports to the Head of Security and requires influencing at executive level, managing a high-performing team, and availability for out-of-hours incidents. Hybrid working in Sydney or Newcastle.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading protective security or critical infrastructure security functions.
• Ability to engage, influence and challenge Executive stakeholders.
• Strong people leadership with a track record of developing teams.
• Experience managing vendors, service providers and operational performance.
• NV1 security clearance and NSW Security Licence class 2A required on commencement.

Responsibilities

• Lead security risk and governance activities across Ausgrid sites and operations.
• Develop and enhance protective security frameworks, policies, SLAs and standards.
• Build trusted relationships with executives and senior stakeholders.
• Manage critical security service providers and contractor performance.
• Lead security risk assessments, compliance and assurance activities.
• Provide insightful reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing security team.
