Job summary

Zip Co in Sydney seeks an experienced Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer/Technical Lead to design and implement robust Snowflake solutions for our banking-sector data platforms. You will lead the platform's technical establishment, security posture, and CI/CD automation while hands-on delivering reliable data infrastructure.

Initial 3-month contract with potential extension, based in Sydney CBD. The role requires deep Snowflake expertise, enterprise-scale governance, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Snowflake platform implementation and operations
• Deep expertise in Snowflake administration, security, and architecture
• Strong knowledge of RBAC, SSO, authentication, data governance, and auditing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development, and release automation
• AWS cloud platform experience
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimisation capabilities
• Experience in large regulated enterprise environments

Responsibilities

Salary and Contract Information

• Initial 3‑month contract with the option to extend.
