Sydney Local Health District seeks a Senior Security Officer for Sydney Dental Hospital to oversee daily security operations and backfill the Security Manager role when needed. Rotating shifts and collaboration with clinical staff will be essential to maintain safety across the facility.
The role requires NSW Licence Class 1A, strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, and experience in healthcare security environments.

The role operates on Monday to Friday rotating on a weekly basis between 06:00-14:30, 07:30-16:00 & 14:30-23:00

Demonstrated experience in healthcare security or a high-risk environment is essential, with strong conflict resolution, communication, and leadership skills. Experience working within NSW Health or a similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to backfill and act in the Security Manager role during periods of leave or absence, including managing team performance, coordinating operations, and liaising with executive stakeholders.
This recruitment may be used to create a talent pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
