Job summary

Sydney Metro invites applications for a permanent Full-Time Governance role focused on security governance across the organisation. You will ensure frameworks, standards, procedures are applied and drive awareness and compliance; note this is not a Cyber Security role.

You bring strong analytical and communication skills, experience in governance processes within a large matrix organisation, and the ability to produce concise reports, briefing papers, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong governance experience in a large organisation with risk management focus.
• Experience writing, proofreading and editing reports, briefing papers, policies and standards.
• Tertiary qualification in security management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and plans are consistently applied.

Conduct activities to ensure that security governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and plans are consistently applied throughout Sydney Metro. The role will see you work across the organisation to drive awareness of, and compliance with security governance requirements.

About You

Your knowledge and understanding of the function of security management and its role in managing risk will see you excel in this role.

You have professional experience in the delivery of governance processes and systems for a large, matrix organisation. You have demonstrated extensive experience in writing, proof reading and editing of reports, briefing papers, policies, standards and procedures.

You hold appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or professional certifications in security management and if required, meet Australian Government Security Vetting Agency requirements and be able to maintain a security vetting clearance.
