Job summary

RONIN Dynamics is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own Zscaler Private Access end to end in a large hybrid environment based in Sydney or Melbourne.

You will lead the design of the access policy, App Connector architecture and segmentation, driving a secure, scalable private access fabric while retiring legacy VPN approaches.

The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to write clear design docs, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders to make decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of Zscaler Private Access at enterprise scale.
• Experience designing access policy rather than implementing others' design.
• Strong network security background including firewalls, routing and segmentation.
• Track record of moving apps off VPN with stakeholder management.
• Ability to write design docs, runbooks and handover material.
• Ability to present to app owners and senior stakeholders.
• Zscaler certification (ZCCA-PA) is a strong signal.

Responsibilities

• Own Zscaler Private Access end to end across the enterprise.
• Define access policy models for devices, posture and user types.
• Architect App Connector placement with on-prem and cloud integration.
• Develop segment groups, server groups and posture profiles.
• Create onboarding standards and change processes for app teams.
• Maintain ongoing access reviews and audit trails.
• Drive retirement of legacy remote access and enforce governance.
