Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a competent security professional to join its Crisis and Security Consulting practice in Australia. You will support the design team, delivering security design consultancy across APAC, including on-site and office engagements.

The role requires deep knowledge of electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance, and security networks, with experience in SCEC, PSPF, and DISP frameworks. Australian government clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in security design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings with project stakeholders and document actions.
• Deliver security design consultancy assignments from simple to complex tasks.
• Draft design stage documents: specs, power loads, tender reports.
• Stay updated on security technology advances.
• Complete tasks within given time frames.
• Lead and design engagements including security reviews, audits, surveys, and inspections.
• Respond to RFPs; scopes, pricing and proposals.
• Design for security solutions aligned with PSPF and DISP requirements.
• Experience with SCEC, Zone 4/5 environments, and door hardware design.
• Coordinate with BlueBeam or equivalent drafting tools.
